About AppHitlist
AppHitlist helps independent developers and small studios see which App Store apps already make money, so they can choose what to build from evidence instead of a guess.
What AppHitlist does
AppHitlist tracks apps on the Apple App Store and puts the signals that matter next to each other. For each app you can see a revenue estimate, how it moves on the daily charts, which Meta ads it runs and for how long, and what its 1- and 2-star reviews complain about.
You can filter the catalog by genre, release date, rating and ads, follow competitors, and get an email when an app you watch changes rank or starts a new ad.
Where the data comes from
We save the charts and listings that Apple publishes on the App Store every day. Revenue and download numbers are estimates calculated by our own algorithm from those public chart lists, and they are updated daily.
They are estimates, not exact figures, and they can be wrong. The method page explains this in plain words.
Who it is for
AppHitlist is made for indie developers and small studios who want store data without an enterprise contract. If you are deciding what to build next, checking a competitor, or looking for gaps in an existing category, it is built for that job.
What AppHitlist does not do
It covers the Apple App Store only, so there is no Google Play data. It does not show exact revenue or ad spend, and it does not read private data from any developer account.
Who runs it
AppHitlist is built and run by an independent developer. There is no sales team. When you write to [email protected], a person reads it and answers by email.
