mAx Speed Calculator

Description Originally released in 2009, mAx has been enjoyed by baseball fans for over 16 years and has now been redesigned for an even better experience. mAx is a simple ball speed calculator that estimates the speed of a ball based on the elapsed time between throwing and catching. Using the app is easy. Tap PUSH when the ball is thrown, then tap RELEASE when it is caught. With its simple operation, anyone can measure ball speed anytime. The app supports baseball, Little League, and softball, and lets you customize the throwing distance to match different playing conditions. It’s perfect for pitching practice, youth baseball, playing catch with family, or simply challenging friends to see who can throw faster. Because the measurement distance can be customized, mAx can also be used for other sports involving a ball, such as measuring the speed of a soccer shot. Key Features • Supports Baseball, Little League, and Softball • Customizable throwing distance • Switch between km/h and mph • Save and edit measurement history Before You Use mAx is a ball speed calculator that estimates speed based on the elapsed time between throwing and catching. It is not a radar gun and does not automatically detect the ball. Measurement accuracy depends on the timing of your input. The displayed speed is an average speed, so it may differ from the peak speed shown on TV broadcasts or professional radar systems. Continuous Improvements Since its original release in 2009, mAx has continued to evolve based on user feedback. We will keep improving the app with new features, better usability, and enhanced accuracy. We hope mAx helps make baseball even more fun.
